Aimee Allen Awakes

I have still not tired of these 2 Aimee vids. She was interviewed recently on Alex Jones. She has a new album out (Alex treated us to a few tracks) W/out most of the angst however, Her voice is as strong as ever and I highly recommend it. Zietgiest was her alarm clock but her mom had laid the ground work. Shortly after her first interview w/Alex she was attacked and beaten with a tire iron in public... funny they didn't even take her money. It is hard to sing in protest w/a broken jaw. I wish Ms Allen Sucsess in all her endevors, Soldier on!

La La La Human Steps

This clip is from the Dance company La La La Human Steps. Specifically a tour called Amelia. Édouard Lock started the company in 1980 from a little play house in Montreal Canada. He is also credited w/filming this scene. I have tried to find the names of these performers however, I could only only find the current roster of the troop. The Site of the troop is here :http://www.lalalahumansteps.com/ It is in french. "The company has encouraged its dancers to question, define, renew and restate, performances based on sound technical fundamentals and a renewal of performance values" This means their performance is somewhat of a Jazz session w/ each new rendition also comes a new performance. I should also mention all the music for Amelia is from the velvet underground and Lou. The thing that grabbed me about this performance was the puppet/automaton/pinoceo aspect brought about intentionally by all the pointed movements ( Amelia is done w/this pointed performance in its entirety) and blank expressions on the performers face. I am sorry Ive forgotten what I found out about the intent of this piece.. It had some thing to do w/relationships as all of La La La Human steps have. I always find it more interesting in what u take away from the piece than what was intended. Enjoy
